It was just before 5 pm on a Saturday and while we were guaranteed a dry afternoon, it had not ceased raining! Ryan and I were resting discussing the weekend's tennis, at the ready for the 6th job to come in. In due time we received a phone call from a lady on a business excursion who had arrived at the Tesco filling station in Sulhamstead Abbots and filled the wrong fuel in a diesel Jaguar rental car. She was rather troubled it seemed, stating "I just can't believe I have destroyed the car! I am just so familiar with putting unleaded in my petrol vehicle that I completely forgot I was using a diesel!" We told her to take it easy and not to be concerned, and also that these things regrettably often happen. She managed to get the car into a secure space and, as it was only a few miles away from our van, we were able to arrive at the woman almost instantly. The wrong fuel was taken out so she could return to the Premier Inn she was residing at. Despite the fact we got fairly wet, it was all rewarding to watch her drive away contented and not so anxious. One more misfuel correction in Berkshire well done in my books!
